Various kinds of industrial tubes using Nylon 12
Ube Group manufactures Nylon 6 and Nylon 12, both from raw materials to finished products.
Newly developed glass-reinforced grade Nylon 6 is highly rated for its excellent balance of mechanical properties, moldability, and welding properties. Thanks to this new grade our Nylon 6 is successfully used for automobile air-intake manifolds and boasts a large domesticmarket share. Furthermore Ube Industries is making progress in expanding Nylon 6 applications to automobile front-end modules and exterior pannels.
Nylon 12, which is valued highly in the world market, is widely used in automobile fuel tubes and air brake tubes due to its stability and high quality. In Australia, our Nylon 12 has been employed in gas pipes for many years, and our goal is to realize the same application in domestic city gas pipes with our continuing R&D efforts.
