Management policy

Established on October 1, 2021, UBE Elastomer Co. Ltd. inherits the synthetic rubber business of UBE Industries, Ltd. ( now UBE Corporation ) and carries out research and development, manufacture, and sales of synthetic rubber and its raw materials. The company has four manufacturing bases in Chiba, Thailand, China, and Malaysia, and supplies products to customers around the world.

The company contributes to the success and growth of its customers by optimizing collaboration among its four manufacturing bases under the “UBEPOL” brand.

1971 1st Ube Industries, Ltd. ( now UBE Corporation ) synthetic rubber plant (BR) in Chiba begins production
1993 2nd synthetic rubber plant begins production
1998 THAI SYNTHETIC RUBBERS COMPANY LIMITED begins operations in Thailand
1999 ISO 14001 certification acquired
2002 ISO 9001 certification acquired (2000 Ver.)
2006 OHSAS 18001 certification acquired
2009 TSRC-UBE (Nantong) Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd . begins operations in China
2012 2nd synthetic rubber plant equipment capacity increase
2014 2nd synthetic rubber plant equipment capacity increase completed (existing plant 67KT, 2nd plant 59KT, total 126KT)
2015 LOTTE UBE SYNTHETIC RUBBER SDN. BHD. begins operations in Malaysia
