TOKYO, April 27, 2012_ Ube Industries, Ltd. has announced today that there have been media reports alleging that Du Pont-Toray Co., Ltd. has filed a lawsuit against Ube Industries claiming patent infringement relating to polyimide films.
As of today Ube Industries has yet to receive any written complaint to that effect. Ube Industries is confident that there are no grounds to support a claim of patent infringement and will make every effort to resolve any dispute that arises.
