UBE Corporation (President: Masato Izumihara) has been selected as a constituent stock of the “MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN).”
MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index was developed by MSCI Inc. It selects Japanese companies that lead their sector groups in terms of promoting and maintaining gender diversity, based on disclosed information about gender diversity.
With this selection, we are now included in all six indexes for ESG investment adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), since we have already been selected as a constituent of FTSE Blossom Japan Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index, and Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index.
