Inspection Instruments Donated to Yamaguchi University

UBE Industries received a certificate of appreciation from Yamaguchi University for the Company’s donation of analysis equipment to the university.
Ube Industries and Yamaguchi University signed a basic agreement concerning comprehensive partnership in 2004. Since then, the two parties have pursued ongoing joint research, technical exchanges, and personnel development. Under the partnership, Ube Industries donated surface analysis instruments (two units) and sample processing equipment (two units) including a scanner electron microscope.
Yamaguchi University president Masaaki Oka presented the certificate to Chairman of the Board and Director Yuzuru Yamamoto of UBE Industries, in the presence of reporters and many personnel.
