Donation of Instruments Purchased with Gate Proceeds from Charity Concert

The UBE Group donated all gate proceeds from the 11th annual UBE Group Charity Concert that was held at the Tokiwa Kosui Hall in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The funds were used to purchase musical instruments for junior high schools and make financial donations to music-related organizations.
The annual charity concert has been held since 2008 as part of the Group’s commitment to practicing corporate social responsibility. This time the gate proceeds were used to purchase instruments that are challenging to replace such as tubas, trombones, and drum kits. The instruments were donated to the music programs of junior high schools in Ube City. Further donations of ¥400,000 each were awarded to three music-related organizations in Ube City.
